Zentralstadion Leipzig

The Leipzig Central Stadium integrates modern age with tradition in a unique way. The stadium was opened in 1956 and with its 100,000 seats ranked as Germany’s largest stadium; it was known all over the world as the ‘stadium of the hundred thousands’. Since the stadium was reconstructed a spectacular roof structure with integrated floodlight equipment forms the optical highlight of the new stadium. Perfectly adjusted sound equipment ensures outstanding acoustics.
