Volkspalast

The oldest fair hall on the fair grounds, erected in 1913 for the International Construction Fair, has been classified as a historical monument. The Volkspalast (People’s Palais) consists of a domed rotunda with two two-storey wing structures. As for the design of the rotunda, the circle took the pattern from the domed structure of the Roman Pantheon from the 2^nd century.

• Up to 700 persons
  • Theatre-style setup: up to 200 persons

• Forms the counterpart to the elegantly designed scenarios of the Domed Hall and the Roundabout. The morbid nostalgic charm of the room is the perfect environment for different types of events.
