Moritzbastei

The Moritzbastei is one of the most capable culture and gastronomy organizers in Leipzig. The complex of seven imposing vaulted cellars dating back to the 16^th century is located right in the city centre. The indoor premises as well as the two romantic inner courts allow for day and night events for up to 1,200 persons.
The historical atmosphere leaves guests as much impressed as does the high cultural and gastronomic quality of the events.
Different institutions and companies make use of the existing know-how and the professional organization structures every year, among them long-term, satisfied customers such as the  Leipziger Messe GmbH (Leipzig Trade Fair), MDR (regional broadcasting station), Daimler Chrysler or Leipziger Herzzentrum (Leipzig Cardiac Centre).
